IMPACT
Corey has spent his entire ten-year career in professional
baseball supporting seriously ill and physically challenged children and their families.
He and Amanda have seen firsthand the impact and challenges that having a
seriously ill child can bring to a family. Through the Kluber Family
Foundation, they work to connect with these families and help make their road a
little easier.
For many years, the Klubers have been hosting families at
the ballpark through their Kluber’s Kids program, providing seriously ill and
physically challenged children with a once-in-a-lifetime baseball dream day.
Starting in 2019, Corey and Amanda have opened two Kluber’s
Korners in the Cleveland Metropolitan Area. The Korners, located at UH Rainbow
Babies & Children’s Hospital and Akron Children’s Hospital, are accessible
to up to 65,000 individuals every month.
For his ongoing work in the community, Corey was presented
with the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award in September 2019.
